On the hillsides of Icononzo, Tolima, more than 1,600 meters above sea level, a group of people made a remarkable decision: to turn peace into something tangible by growing coffee. Not as a metaphor, but as a way of life, a source of income, and proof that reintegration works when institutions are willing to believe in people.
These individuals make up the Esperanza y Paz Agricultural Association, a group of 43 members representing 25 families, including signatories of the Peace Agreement and members of the rural communities of Balconcitos. Together, they cultivate 18 hectares of high-quality coffee—an achievement that did not happen on its own.
“Where others saw land marked by conflict, they planted hope. That is the coffee we are committed to supporting today.”
Every bag of Esperanza y Paz Coffee that reaches a consumer carries something no foreign origin can replicate: the flavor of a community that chose peace and works for it every single day, furrow by furrow, bean by bean.
Enjoy a coffee that transforms lives
Every cup of Esperanza y Paz Coffee represents much more than an exceptional coffee experience—it is an opportunity to support the work, hope, and development of the communities that produce it.
We invite you to purchase Esperanza y Paz Coffee and become part of this meaningful mission.
