ALA Comprehensive Health brings exercise and well-being to older adults in the Incora village of San Pelayo.

Led by Mrs. Arelys Lopez A., the Comprehensive Health team carries out physical activities with the elderly residents of the village, generating a positive impact on their quality of life and motivating them to continue building a stronger community

In the municipality of San Pelayo, in the department of Córdoba, the Comprehensive Health team, headed by Mrs. Arelys Lopez A., has been implementing activities specially designed for the elderly residents of the Incora village. Through therapy sessions and physical activities, the program seeks to improve the health and well-being of older adults in the community.

These initiatives, which are also part of the PROMEVI program, have been well received by the beneficiaries. Regular physical activity has contributed to the participants’ physical improvement while also strengthening community ties and fostering integration among families in the village.

This work, documented through audiovisual records shared by the community itself, reflects the commitment to continue contributing to the well-being of the region’s most vulnerable populations. Seeing the positive impact on each of the elderly participants motivates us to keep creating opportunities and transforming lives in San Pelayo.
